TPPC Coronavirus Update

Sunday morning worship will be held online indefinitely.

The Takoma Park Presbyterian Church is prayerfully reviewing the situation related to the coronavirus and will post updates related to worship and church related functions on this site.

We will gather for worship using ZOOM (feed available starting about 10:45 AM). At the moment, Pastor Reisner and a few others broadcast from the church sanctuary while worshippers will be invited to sign on ZOOM. Directions on how to connect and participate in virtual worship will be sent via a group.io e-mail. If you are unfamiliar with ZOOM we recommend you read up a little before the service.

We will set an informal and experimental mood, ask forgiveness as we stumble along our way in a new medium. It will be fun.

Summer worship will continue to meet on Sundays at 11:00 a.m. online until further notice.

A video of our online worship service for Sunday May 24th is available.

An archive of online services, with links to both video and audio files, can be accessed from this website.

Choir rehersals are cancelled, as are other church activities. Many church meetings are now being held using Zoom.

The Church Office will remain open, but with new hours - 10 AM to 1 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

TPPC Support Network

The deacons are building a TPPC support network to respond to the coronavirus pandemic.

Do you know of needs in our church community or among your neighbors that are not being met? Are there people who could use regular calls or groceries? Would you like to help meet needs as they are identified?

Email deacons@takomaparkpc.org.
