The session of the Takoma Park Presbyterian Church issues a call for a congregational meeting
to be held after worship on June 13th, 2010 for the purpose of acting on several proposed changes to the by-laws of the Takoma Park Presbyterian Church.
A group from TPPC is going to Nationals Park on Sunday, June 6th when the Washington Nationals play the Cincinnati Reds.
Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper and Talent Show will be held on February 16,
starting at 6:30 PM, and
the Ash Wednesday worship service will be held on February 17 starting at 7:30 PM.
A special meeting of the National Capital Presbytery will be held at 10 AM at the Falls Church Presbyterian Church. Links to overtures submitted or affirmed by our church are given on our website.

At their December 1st meeting, the TPPC session voted to affirm
the Charter for Compassion,
and voted to put forward an overture
asking the National Capital Presbytery to affirm the Charter
and put forward an overture to have the PC USA affirm and promote the
Charter among their member churches.

The Chesapeake Climate Action Network presents
Your Planet Is Hot: A Global Warming Love Story,
a 90-minute, multi-media, eye-popping presentation on Tuesday, December 1st, 7:30 pm in the
TPPC Assembly Room.
TPPC will participate in a drive to provide
poor families in the 20912 area code a Thanksgiving Dinner.
Donations will be accepted on November 22nd in worship.
