Comments Needed on CRM Racial Justice document

From TPPC Session and Committed Racial Mindfulness Ministry:

A “Racial Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Lens” for TPPC has been drafted by the Committed Racial Mindfulness (CRM). The document is intended to help the church in its efforts to build the Beloved Community by proving guidance, taking into account racial justice, equity, and diversity as we plan for the future, set policies and priorities, and make decisions.

This draft awaits comments from you — members and attendees of TPPC — before being presented to the Session (our TPPC governing body) for approval.

The document is available on this website and copies will be provided at the back of the church.

How to give feedback and raise questions and concerns:

  1. Talk with CRM and session representatives in the back of the church after the service on any Sunday in June or July.

  2. Email questions or comments to CommittedRacialMindfulness@takomaparkpc.org

  3. Request a one-on-one conversation with a CRM or session member, in a note to the above email.

The Session and the CRM Ministry look forward to hearing from you! Thanks for your thoughts.
