Sermon: "Head for the Hills" by Rev. Mark Harper

“[This is] what it means to be alive in the adventure of Jesus. We present ourselves to God – our bodies, our stories, our futures, our possibilities, even our limitations. ‘Here I am,’ we say with Mary, ‘the Lord’s servant. Let it be with me according to your will.’”

Let me echo other words of gratitude I’ve been hearing ever since the wonderful musical offerings that so enriched our worship last Sunday.

Thank you to Dr. James Bingham and the choir and our guest musicians for their remarkable gifts. We were in the presence of Musical Magi who pointed to the light in our midst.

Grace and peace, Mark

Hybrid Worship Continues This Sunday

We continue to live-stream our worship with the primary focus on delivering a complete service for people participating on Zoom.

Our services now originate from the Sanctuary. People are welcome to come to church for worship, but no one should feel obligated to be personally present.

We respectfully ask everyone to wear masks in the church for their own health. Those who are presenting or leading the congregation in singing may remove their masks while they are presenting or singing.

About Online Worship

We will gather by ZOOM (feed available starting about 10:45 AM).

Directions on how to connect and participate in virtual worship will be sent via a group.io e-mail. If you are unfamiliar with ZOOM we recommend you read up a little before the service. We will set an informal and experimental mood, ask forgiveness as we stumble along our way in a new medium. It will be fun.
