Sermon: “Temporarily Out of Service“ by Pastor Mark Harper
An old grandfather said to his grandson … ‘It is as if there are two wolves inside of me. One is good and does no harm. But the other wolf, ah! He is full of anger. Sometimes it is hard to live with these two, for both try to dominate my spirit.’
The boy asked, ‘Which one wins, Grandfather?’
The grandfather smiled and said, ‘The one I feed.’

Join us for Worship on the (Hybrid) Steps next Sunday, where we invite you to worship outdoors on the steps and grounds of our church. Worship will be participatory, as we will ask folks to sing songs, read poetry, or bear witness.
Next Sunday is also the first Sunday with our Summer worship hours, where worship starts at 10 AM.
Our services continue to be held in our Sanctuary. People are welcome to come to church for worship, and we will continue to live-stream our worship service.
Facemasks are currently optional at TPPC; however, if you’re not vaccinated, we recommend wearing a mask.
We recommend that everyone get the COVID vaccination and booster, and if you have a vulnerable health condition or just prefer to wear a mask, please feel free to do so.
For more information, access the TPPC Coronovirus page.
About Online Worship
We will gather by ZOOM (feed available starting about 10:45 AM).
Directions on how to connect and participate in virtual worship will be sent via a group.io e-mail. If you are unfamiliar with ZOOM we recommend you read up a little before the service.
We will set an informal and experimental mood, ask forgiveness as we stumble along our way in a new medium. It will be fun.
