Announcing the Start of Hybrid Worship at TPPC

To the Takoma Park Presbyterian Church Community:

This coming Sunday, June 13, we invite people with last names starting with letters A through K to the sanctuary to participate in hybrid worship.  The service will continue to be produced as primarily live-streamed worship for people attending on Zoom. People should not feel obligated to come to church and may choose to continue to worship from home.

Those attending in person will still have an experience of worship and may also find it interesting to see how the sanctuary has been transformed into a recording studio.  We respectfully ask that unvaccinated people including children wear masks in the church for their own health.

This Sunday will be the first step in what will be a summer-long process through which Takoma Park Presbyterian Church will return to full in-person worship in our sanctuary. This journey will also include the much-awaited plastering and painting of our sanctuary in late June through July. Worship will move to the Library while the sanctuary is being renewed.

Next Sunday we invite people with last names starting with letters L through Z to the sanctuary to participate in hybrid worship.

Live-streaming will continue to be a part of our worship beyond the end of the COVID-19 pandemic.
