I hope you have next Sunday, February 27th etched on your calendars. At 2 pm that afternoon we will be celebrating the rededication of our beautifully restored sanctuary – and we want you to be there! Please know you can participate in person or via our Zoom live-stream. That, of course, will be our second opportunity to gather that day: we do have wonderful, engaging, life-changing worship at 11 a.m., just in case you were wondering ….
This coming Wednesday evening, February 23rd at 7 pm, we welcome our friend and neighbor Dr. Susan Strasser as she shares reflections from her ongoing work regarding racism in our country. Her presentation this time around will focus on the history of race riots and why we are a long way from being out of those woods. Many thanks to Committed Racial Mindfulness for its coordination of this important event.
Also, please keep our session in prayer as we go on retreat on Saturday, February 26th. May God’s Spirit move and inspire us as we rededicate ourselves to being creative servant leaders in your midst.
Grace and peace,
Mark
About Online Worship
We will gather by ZOOM (feed available starting about 10:45 AM).
Directions on how to connect and participate in virtual worship will be sent via a group.io e-mail. If you are unfamiliar with ZOOM we recommend you read up a little before the service.
We will set an informal and experimental mood, ask forgiveness as we stumble along our way in a new medium. It will be fun.
