Sermon Title: "Like a Tree" by Rev. Jim Reisner
"They are like trees planted by streams of water." -- Psalms 1:4
“It is one of the great gifts of Judaism -- this notion that goodness is related to happiness. It was an important moment centuries later when Jesus taught that the whole law, the Torah, is summarized in two commandments: to love God with heart mind and soul and to love your neighbor as you love yourself.
You want to be happy? You want to be one of those lovely productive trees planted by a stream of water? Love God and neighbor. It's the Judeo-Christian answer to life's oldest question, and it is radically different from the answers the world and specifically our culture keep coming up with.” -- John Buchanan
Pastor Reisner welcomes worship participants to stay after the benediction for a Chat and Chew. People are welcome to share their reflections on the sermon and the themes of our worship.

About Online Worship
We will gather by ZOOM (feed available starting about 10:45 AM). At the moment, Pastor Reisner and a few others broadcast from the church sanctuary while worshipers will be invited to sign on ZOOM.
Directions on how to connect and participate in virtual worship will be sent via a group.io e-mail. If you are unfamiliar with ZOOM we recommend you read up a little before the service.
We will set an informal and experimental mood, ask forgiveness as we stumble along our way in a new medium. It will be fun.
