All Saints Sunday, November 7th

On November 7th we will be celebrating All Saints Sunday, giving thanks for the great cloud of witnesses of all the faithful who have gone before us and who continue to give us courage on our own journeys of discipleship. In keeping with TPPC tradition, a table will be available under one balcony in the sanctuary for displaying photos or other mementos of loved ones who have “joined the saints in light,” as one prayer puts it.

In addition this year we are inviting you to share the names of family members or friends who have died in the last year. Since so many of us now are connected to someone who has suffered a loss due to COVID-19 we especially encourage you to share those names, along with any others from your extended circles. These names will be read in that day’s worship service.

If you have questions, please contact Mark Harper or our Worship Committee. All names should be sent to the church office by Wednesday, November 3rd at office@takomaparkpc.org.

As Jesus makes clear, the church is truly an expansive family.
