Join an Online Book Discussion January 29th
This year's Women’s Bible Study is on “What My Grandmothers Taught me: Learning from the Women in Matthew’s Genealogy of Jesus”, a fascinating study that has led to a rich discussion and sharing of memories.
Some of us have begun reading a related book entitled “In My Grandmother’s House: Black Women, Faith, and the Stories We Inherit” written by Dr. Yolanda Pierce, a professor and dean of Howard University School of Divinity.
We invite you to join us in reading and discussing this book. Our first book discussion will be held online on Saturday, Jan. 29th at 10:30 am to discuss the first four chapters.
In My Grandmother’s House can be ordered for $21 through Busboys & Poets.
