TPPC Joins Election Night Vigil On November 4

Election Eve 16th Street Candlelight Vigil for Democracy, Peace and Hope

From Pastor Mark:

You don’t need me to tell you how important the upcoming election is for the life of our nation. For many of us, this has been a stressful, overwhelming season of waiting, worrying, and wondering.  But it’s also a wonderful opportunity to lean into our faith in God and to seek our Lord’s guidance and peace.

And we might realize that we are not alone.

As the announcement about the Election Eve Candlelight Vigil indicates, TPPC will join nearly 30 other local faith communities in an hour of collective prayer from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Monday, November 4th. For those who prefer to make their witness public, this link to a flyer offers information about locations along 16th Street where folks will be gathering.

If you would rather come inside and pray at TPPC, the sanctuary will be open for that hour.

All are welcome!
