Ruth Noel and her husband, Ray Nosbaum volunteered at the Migrant Resource Center (MRC) in Agua Prieta, MX, in September 2023. While in Dougla-Prieta, they stayed in Douglas, AZ at the Frontera de Cristo office, a Presbyterian border mission.
Back to School With Small Things Matter
Small Things Matter (STM), one of our church’s Mission Partners, seeks our help to collect backpacks for schoolchildren. If you would like to donate backpacks and school supplies, please bring them to the back of the sanctuary by August 13. All donated supplies should be new.
TPPC Supports Sending Kids to Camp
Going to camp is a privilege some kids get to enjoy every week of the summer and others never enjoy it once. A local effort is raising money to help kids get to summer camp, with the support of TPPC.

One Great Hour of Sharing 2022
During April we will be collecting the One Hour of Sharing special offering, with a special focus on Easter Sunday. One Great Hour of Sharing is the single, largest way that Presbyterians come together to work for a better world by advancing the causes of justice, resilience, and sustainability.
Last Listening Session March 13
TPPC will conduct its last listening session after church on Sunday, March 13th. The Washington Hebrew Congregation will join us and participate in the listening session.

Takoma Park Presbyterian Church’s Social Witness and Action Committee (SWAC) met on Thursday, March 3rd. Part of the agenda was to act on donations to a few late-breaking situations both locally and internationally. Three items are noted below.
