Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper and Talent Show on February 21

Come for the pancakes, stay for the talent.

Good news! The Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper and Talent Show are scheduled for February 21st.

Yes, the annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper and Talent Show will be held from 6:30 - 9 PM on February 21st in the Church Assembly Room.

Come join friends and family for a meal of hearty flapjacks, followed by laughter, song, dance, and other fun at the talent show starting at 7:00.  Help us carry on this fun tradition that began around 600 AD as a way of celebrating life and using up yummy stuff that couldn't be eaten during Lent (wow). 

This year we will also have a bake-off competition for the best cookies or cupcakes. Bring in at least a dozen and a brief description of the ingredients.

While all cookies and cupcakes have a place at God’s dessert table, we encourage you to have fun and be extravagant. It is the last day before Lent, for heaven’s sake. Let the good times—and sugar and sprinkles and everything decadent—roll!

Judges—of all ages—are also needed.
