Sunday Discussion Series on Dr. Martin Luther King
In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the Takoma Park Presbyterian Church invites the congregation and wider Takoma Park Community to three Sunday morning discussions of King’s 1964 Nobel Peace Prize Lecture “The Quest for Peace and Justice.”
Special Conversation Sunday, January 7
We're excited to announce that this Sunday, January 7 at 9:30 AM Julian Bil with Community Peacemaker Teams will be joining us to talk about what's happening in Iraqi/Kurdistan.
New Collaborative Youth Ministry for Grades 4-6
The Presbyterian Churches of Colesville, Northwood, Rockville, Takoma Park and Warner Memorial (Kensington) are teaming up for a brand new collaborative youth ministry for our young people in the 4th through 6th grades! We'll gather once a month at alternating churches for a time to hang out, get to know each other, do something fun, think about our faith, and eat together.
Adult Sunday School Resumes September 10
Adult Sunday School will resume on September 10th at 9:30 a.m. in the parlor and on Zoom. We will be reading A Bigger Table: Building Messy, Authentic, and Hopeful Spiritual Community by John Pavlovitz.

Doctrine of Discovery Class on November 20
On Sunday, November 20th, Adult Sunday School will discuss the Doctrine of Discovery. a concept of public international law promulgated by Christian European monarchies in order to legitimize the colonization and evangelization of lands outside Europe.
Welcome Back To Your Church!
Another September marks the beginning of another program year at Takoma Park Presbyterian Church. We have a number of activities to welcome you back to your church home, or to help make this your new church home, from a welcoming brunch, choir rehearsals, our plans for Fall Sunday School, and the start of our Women’s Bible Study.
Christian Ed Committee seeking ideas for youth programs
As we slowly get back into the rhythm of regathering in person, the Christian Education Committee would love to hear your thoughts on children and youth programming. To that end, CE is inviting all interested parents and teachers to a light lunch in the Assembly Room following worship on July 31st.
