In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the Takoma Park Presbyterian Church invites the congregation and wider Takoma Park Community to three Sunday morning discussions of King’s 1964 Nobel Peace Prize Lecture “The Quest for Peace and Justice.”

Special Services in November
TPPC will have a few special services early in November.
On Sunday, November 5, we'll be celebrating All Saints Day when we remember friends and family who have passed away over the last year.
On Commitment Sunday, November 12, we will make our annual pledges as a community during worship.

Peace Prayer Vigil October 11
A Prayer Vigil in response to the violence in Palestine and Israel will be held in the sanctuary of Takoma Park Presbyterian Church on Wednesday night October 11 at 7 pm.
Fall Worship Update
This fall is a special time for worship, including our annual World Communion Sunday service.
Adult Sunday School Resumes September 10
Adult Sunday School will resume on September 10th at 9:30 a.m. in the parlor and on Zoom. We will be reading A Bigger Table: Building Messy, Authentic, and Hopeful Spiritual Community by John Pavlovitz.

Back to School With Small Things Matter
Small Things Matter (STM), one of our church’s Mission Partners, seeks our help to collect backpacks for schoolchildren. If you would like to donate backpacks and school supplies, please bring them to the back of the sanctuary by August 13. All donated supplies should be new.
